What is happening in the Parish

The National Churches Trust have very kindly given us a grant toward the cost of some repairs to the west wall of Lairg Church

Our Flower Festival and Songs of Praise on the 14th, 15th and 16th July were a great success, we were able to enjoy times of fellowship when people came by to see the arrangements which were on the theme of “Plants of the Bible” and then stayed to enjoy some home baking and grab a bargain on our sales table. Here are some pictures of some of the beautiful arrangements _

Children’s Holiday Club

This week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (7th,8th and 9th August) is the Children’s Holiday Club and the theme is Rocky’ Plaice from Scripture Union. We are having lots of fun and the children seem to be enjoying themselves laughing at the antics of our chef Rocky and Luigi the wacky waiter but also learning about Jesus. All are welcome to come and if you cannot manage every day that is not a problem. Come when you can all absolutely free! Registration at 10.00 until 12.30

Harvest Service

This Sunday the 15th October we celebrated The Harvest in Lairg Church and enjoyed a joyful service led by Rev. John Chambers.

It was a lovely service as you can see from the pictures and we all enjoyed it, I just felt I had to take a few pictures to commemorate the occasion.
