What is happening in the Parish

The National Churches Trust have very kindly given us a grant toward the cost of some repairs to the west wall of Lairg Church

Our Flower Festival this year (2018) was on the theme of ” All Praise and Thanks to God” a wonderful thing to think about when we sometimes take our blessings for granted. We live in an extremely beautiful part of Scotland and every day we are surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. Our festival finished with a Songs of Praise on Sunday evening which was very well attended. Many thanks to all who contributed their talents and hard work whether it was making arrangements, serving tea , washing up or coming along and supporting us.

Here are a few pictures of some of the arrangements :-

We are having lots of fun and the children seem to be enjoying themselves laughing at the antics of our chef Rocky and Luigi the wacky waiter but also learning about Jesus. All are welcome to come and if you cannot manage every day that is not a problem. Come when you can all absolutely free! Registration at 10.00 until 12.30

Harvest Service

This Sunday the 15th October we celebrated The Harvest in Lairg Church and enjoyed a joyful service led by Rev. John Chambers.

It was a lovely service as you can see from the pictures and we all enjoyed it, I just felt I had to take a few pictures to commemorate the occasion.
