Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm for Prayer Meeting
The two parishes of Lairg and Rogart have been successfully linked for many years.
Members of both congregations, together, are now prayerfully seeking an enthusiastic, new Minister to help them reach out into their communities and to encourage more people to share in their vision. We seek to worship the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to grow and develop as his disciples,to spread the good news of the gospel of Christ and to serve Him both locally and in the wider world. Our new Minster will be enthusiastically supported by warm and friendly congregations, who are keen to work with them to make our vision a reality in the heart of these rural crofting communities in the centre of Sutherland
The area has many amenities which meet the needs of all age groups within the community. We are within easy reach of world class beaches on both the East and West coasts
The Presbytery of Sutherland has granted this Charge a reviewable call of 7 years reviewable tenure. The Presbytery’s plan is that the parish of Golspie shall be added to the linkage of Lairg and Rogart.
The manse for the linkage is located in Lairg and is modern and easy to maintain.
